The FIA Endurance Committee has issued Balance of Performance adjustments to select GTE cars, while confirming the technical specifications of Rebellion’s Lola-Toyota LMP1 car ahead of the FIA World Endurance Championship season-opening Six Hours of Silverstone.

The changes come in wake of The Prologue at Paul Ricard, which saw at least one car from each team and manufacturer participate in the mandatory pre-season official test.

The Aston Martin Vantage V8 has received a 15 kg weight break from the configuration it ran late last year, although now mandated to run a 5 mm higher ride height. It was previously the only car allowed to run outside of the class-wide mandated height of 55 mm.

Porsche’s 997-based 911 GT3 RSR, meanwhile, has been given a 0.6 mm air restrictor increase, while the German manufacturer’s 991-model 911 RSR will run in the same configuration seen in last year’s finale in Bahrain.

The above changes have been made for both the GTE-Pro and GTE-Am classes, although the Aston will continue to have a 0.3 mm larger air restrictor and 5 liter increase in fuel capacity in GTE-Am specification.

Additionally, Rebellion Racing’s 2013-spec Lola B12/60 Toyotas have been homologated to compete in the “first races” of the season, which will run 44.4 mm air restrictors, at 890 kg minimum weight and with 83-liter fuel capacity.

The Anglo-Swiss squad will start the season with the grandfathered prototypes prior to a planned debut of its new Rebellion R-One from the second round of the season at Spa.

The FIA, meanwhile, confirmed to LMP1-H teams last week their fuel flow allocations for the first three races of the season, although those numbers, or any potential BoP changes in LMP2, have yet to be published.
