Rush Security has secured the naming rights to round one of the BNT V8 SuperTourers’ 2014/2015 championship series as part of a new sponsorship deal.

The leading New Zealand security provider recently signed a deal that locks in the round sponsorship rights for the Taupo 400, round one of the Hankook Super Series, and installs it as the official series security partner through till the end of June 2015.

Rush security recently identified V8 SuperTourers as a potential partner, while surveying the market for a strategic alliance that would help grow its brand nationally.

“We are looking to grow our business in New Zealand and have been scanning the market for a sponsorship property that could spearhead a major brand push,” says Rush Security managing director Darien Rush. “We were very keen to align our brand with a top performing national sporting competition that could deliver major television exposure and high end brand profile. We quickly ascertained that SuperTourers would fit the bill perfectly.

“We are very happy with the new alliance and look forward to reaping the benefits of the partnership with SuperTourers, starting with the sponsorship of the Rush Security Taupo 400.”
SuperTourer series bosses are naturally very happy with the Rush Security deal, which comes soon after the confirmation of TR Group as naming rights sponsor for round two at Hampton Downs and completes the enduro series sponsorship trifecta – the Fuchs 500 at Pukekohe being the third.

“It’s great to secure yet another sponsor and lock away the naming rights deals for all three enduro rounds,” says V8 SuperTourers Sales & Marketing Manager Mike Marsden. “It’s another significant step for the series and a clear indication of the value that comes with sponsoring New Zealand’s premier motor racing series.”
