Keith Brown, a New Zealand-based builder, has won IRWIN Tools’ ‘Rip-A-Trip’ promotion, which was featured in recent weeks on Speedcafe.com.
Having purchased an IRWIN Tools product at his local hardware store in Hamilton, Brown’s name was drawn out of a barrel containing several thousand entries and he is on his way to the USA.
Brown will travel to Tennessee to experience the NASCAR IRWIN Tools Bristol Night Race where he will watch the race in the comfort of the IRWIN Tools corporate suite. He will receive $1000 spending money and can make the most of his trip and travel to another city anywhere in the US.
The quiet builder was surprised to have won, but excited to be going overseas.
“It’s the first time I’ve won anything, the whole trip sounds really good,” said Keith Brown.
“I’ve been to England and to Australia on a couple of occasions. I’ve passed through the States, we had a few days there, it’s a busy place.”
Brown has yet to discover the roar of the NASCARs, but he enjoys his motor sport.
For IRWIN Tools, the promotion was again a success and it thanks everyone for entering.
“It was so great to have so many of our customers supporting the ‘Rip-A-Trip promotion,” said Laura Turnbull IRWIN Tools’ Marketing Director
“It was a great prize and that was reflected in the number of entries.
“We were also thrilled to see so many professional tradesmen enter the competition; it tells us that they trust the quality of our tools.”
