Kiwi motor car driver Mitch Evans knows he’s got a huge ask on his hands to emulate his success in 2013.
Evans is expected to step up to GP2, one step below Formula 1, after winning the GP3 division in 2012.
He says his early impressions of the GP2 car show he’s got his work cut out.
“Going to be very very tough and after testing I’ve realised that you need a lot of experience to drive those cars and be competitive so if I do race I’m not expecting to be right at the pointy end to begin with.”
Evans says things are looking good to confirm a place in GP2 in the next couple of weeks.
