Top Kiwi rally driver Hayden Paddon and his New Zealand World Rally Team (NZWRT) have confirmed a new partnership with GO Rentals, a New Zealand car rental enterprise building an international reputation for its service, quality vehicles and excellent rates.
Paddon, with co-driver John Kennard, is preparing to contest the second half of the FIA Super 2000 World Rally Championship with their next event commencing 13 September in the United Kingdom.
Paddon, the 2011 FIA Production World Rally Champion, says the confirmation that GO Rentals joins the NZWRT’s ever-expanding list of loyal partners is great news.
“We’re really delighted to welcome GO Rentals to the New Zealand World Rally Team family,” says Paddon from his new base in the UK in Northampton.
“It’s fantastic to have another 100 per cent Kiwi-owned and operated company join our team – like NZWRT, GO Rentals is continually growing their international status and reputation, and working together, we can keep waving that New Zealand flag.”
In the past GO Rentals has had links with motorsport through the Formula Vee championship, explains Paddon.
“Now, with GO Rentals involved with rallying via our team, we can help take the GO Rentals brand worldwide as we look to engage with international travellers who come to New Zealand.”
GO Rentals general manager James Dalglish is also excited about the company’s new partnership with New Zealand’s leading rally team as he strives to further enhance GO Rentals’ international profile.
“As a business we’re very excited to be teaming up with Hayden and we’re looking forward to celebrating his success on the world stage,” says Dalglish.
GO Rentals was first established in New Zealand in 1997 and now manages a fleet of over 1,000 late model vehicles in five key locations: Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. Customer feedback highlights the high standards of service, quality vehicles and good rates combine to make GO Rentals a well-regarded service provider.
Paddon says the goal to be the best is what drives him in competition and what drives GO Rentals in their day-to-day business.
“As we get ready for three final rallies this season, our goal continues to be to bring home another world title. First, in order to make that possible, a good result next week at Wales Rally GB is crucial.
“And remember, to see all the best GO Rentals deals visit their website, www.gorentals.co.nz, and keep up to date with the team’s rally progress at www.haydenpaddon.com,” says Paddon.
On behalf of the NZWRT, Paddon extends his thanks to the team’s partners PlaceMakers, Giltrap Group, Skoda, Z Energy, GO Rentals, ENZED, ATEED, Cameron Sea and Airfreight, Granger Design, Raiseys, New Balance, Pope Print, Racetech, Chicane Racewear, Endless Brake Pads, 1 Group web design, Brita Safety, Rally Tours, MAK-Corp, EPS International, Saddle Hill Quarries, Monit Rally Computers, Bluebridge Ferries, Stadium Finance, and Ewing Engineering Contractors.
