The Formula E Drivers’ Club has gained eight new members, organisers confirmed on Monday.
Ex-F1 drivers Bruno Senna, Sébastien Bourdais, Narain Karthikeyan, Christijan Albers and Franck Montagny are now signed up, along with IndyCar stars Oriol Servià and J.R. Hildebrand Jr. and GP2′s Daniel Abt.
The new scheme, announced earlier this month, comprises of established motorsport names that officially endorse the FIA’s new electric championship and have expressed a desire to race in the series.
Final driver signings for the inaugural season, which begins in September, will remain up to the teams.
