A drive in the full Dunlop Super2 Championship spearheads the list of huge prizes offered by the Aussie Driver Search program in 2018.

Entering its third year, ADS has put together a total prize pool of almost $1,000,000 which includes a sizeable $600,000 worth of funding for the winner of its Pro Competition.

The kitty will enable the Pro winner to have a legitimate shot at becoming a full-time Supercars driver by taking the plunge into the Dunlop Super2 category next season.

Offering a prized drive in the second tier Supercars class is reflective of the tremendous growth that ADS has achieved since its inception.

While more key details will be announced in the near future, the drive in the primary Supercars feeder category will be handled by a proven squad.

ADS gives aspiring drivers a shot at making it in motorsport based off talent and not money with competitions to suit drivers of all backgrounds, budgets and experience levels.

“We are proud to be giving a talented driver the opportunity to step into the Super2 category, it is something we honestly never thought would be possible” ADS founder Kyle Austin said.

“The ultimate dream of any race driver in Australia and New Zealand is to race in the Supercars, however it is simply not attainable for the majority of people due to the huge budgets needed.

“We are now making the dream of becoming a Supercars driver attainable to anyone based purely on talent.”

The Pro Competition is part of five elements of the Aussie Driver Search initiative which aims to unearth talent through a series of qualifying rounds at major locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Other categories on offer in the latest ADS program are Semi-Pro Competition (winner to receive a $150,000 racing budget), GT Competition ($60,000 budget to race in the Australian GT Championship), Amateur Competition ($50,000 budget) and Rookie Competition (drive and ride experiences).

ADS continues to evolve the program to deliver bigger prizes, better cars, more value and more locations to ensure the program is as accessible as possible.

Full details of all five category formats, dates and venues will be announced in the coming days. Head to www.aussiedriversearch.com to find out more.
