Ferrari has become the second team to present its new car ahead of the 2014 F1 season. In an online launch on Saturday, the F14 T, to be driven by Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen, was unveiled.
The Italian marque has developed a different, smoother solution to the altered nose regulations, avoiding the controversial ‘anteater’ concept that was first seen on a real-life car at the launch of McLaren’s MP4-29.
The new design has also retained pullrod front suspension, which the team brought back to the sport in 2012.
Ferrari will run its latest challenger at next week’s Jerez test, taking place from January 28-31. Räikkönen is scheduled to get behind the wheel on the first two days of the gathering, before Alonso takes over.
