The beginning of 2014 and the new V8 SuperTourer season sees some changes to the M3 Racing Team. Paul Manuell, after 16 consecutive summer seasons of racing in NZ’s premier classes, will vacate the driver’s seat for the first part of this year’s V8 Supertourers Series however will return for the endurance rounds later in the year.

“I have elected to take a break from sprint series racing for personal reasons however I am very thankful to my fantastic partners in their understanding of this decision,” says Paul. “They have been very supportive of what has been a tough decision and for this I am extremely grateful.”

It is with great excitement that M3 Racing welcomes Morgan Haber, 2013 Bathurst 12 Hour Endurance Race Champion to the M3 Team. Morgan joins the team with an extensive background in Australian tin-top Racing including the Suzuki Swift Series, Kumho Touring Cars, and most recently the V8 Supercar Dunlop Series.

Paul and the team are eager to see Morgan in action and are confident of his ability to start the season off with a stellar performance. “I am excited to see what Morgan can bring to the team, and to be back in the seat for the enduro’s where ORIX Team Racing thrived in 2013,” says Paul.

“I wish Morgan, Murph, Richard and the M3 Racing contingent the very best luck for Round One at Cromwell later this month. I will be track side to help out and will still be very involved. Morgan comes to the team with great ability and I am confident he will do my valued sponsor group and associated supporters proud.”
