The FIA has confirmed the 2015 World Endurance Championship schedule, with no changes since its provisional calendar announcement in October.
Confirmation of next year’s calendar came during today’s FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting in Doha.
The eight-round global championship will kick off at Silverstone in April and conclude in Bahrain in November, with the only notable change from 2014 being a new round at the Nürburgring in place of Interlagos.
While the FIA WEC calendar remains unchanged, the addition of the Korean Grand Prix to the Formula One schedule is likely to impact Nico Hulkenberg’s prospects of competing in the FIA WEC race at Spa-Francorchamps, which falls on the same weekend.
