Black Falcon has claimed its fourth victory in the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai after putting in a dominant performance with its pair of Mercedes-AMG GT3s in the second half of the race.

Abdulaziz Al Faisal drove the No. 2 car to the finish by a margin of six minutes over the Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R.

He shared the car with Hubert Haupt, Yelmer Buurman and Gabriele Piana.

The team led almost all of the last 12 hours of the race, with the lead frequently changing between its two cars.

However, the No. 3 Mercedes-AMG of Khaled Al Qubaisi, Jeroen Bleekemolen, Luca Stolz and Manuel Metzger was taken out of contention with four hours to go following contact with the Hofor Racing A6-Am entry while in the lead.

This allowed the sister car to lead over 100 laps relatively unchallenged taking it to the checkered flag.

While the Manthey Porsche finished three laps down in second, Grasser Racing Team bounced back to finish on the bottom step of the podium.

The No. 964 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 started from pole position but a puncture for Mirko Bortolotti on just the ninth lap pushed the car down the field.

Nine different cars led the race at various stages although the main challengers were the pair of Black Falcon entries and Herberth Motorsport Porsche.

SPS Automotive Performance won the A6-Am class while Phoenix Racing took a 1-2 win with the Audi R8 LMS GT4 in the GT4 category.
