The leading Kiwi digital communications company Cumulo9 is entering the Australian market in spectacular fashion through its sponsorship of Trass Family Motorsport (TFM), New Zealand’s Ferrari Racing Team.
The sponsor will help TFM to compete in the 2015 Australian GT Championship with Jono Lester and Paul Kelly at the wheel of the TFM Ferrari 458 Italia GT3. An initial 12-month agreement covers branding of the car, clothing and pit area, and corporate hosting opportunities for the New Zealand team’s challenge for the title against the best GT teams in the region.
Cumulo9 is a market leader in New Zealand for paperless business email services, and CEO Chris Hogg says alignment with the TFM team makes sense for the company, whose customers are C-suite members with an interest in motorsport.
“This sponsorship is a good fit with the Cumulo9 brand – we expect it to help put us front-of-mind with potential customers and raise awareness of our brand as we expand into Australia this year.
“We are extremely excited to be supporting a team that embodies the same values and goals as Cumulo9 and is, like us, a Kiwi team establishing a strong footing across the Tasman. We look forward to celebrating shared success and building our relationship with the team for the future in Australia.”
The 2015 Australian GT Championship is held over six rounds, with four sprint rounds in support of the V8 Supercars and two standalone ‘101’ endurance events at Phillip Island and New Zealand’s Highlands Motorsport Park.
Much of Cumulo9’s success in the New Zealand market has stemmed from its leading-edge Mailprimer email delivery platform, which has facilitated the secure delivery of hundreds of millions business emails. The company has achieved 99.9% measured deliverability, with full tracking and reporting provided to customers – a unique selling point in its sector. As part of its Australian expansion, Cumulo9 will be targeting businesses in the telecommunications, finance, insurance and utilities sectors, and working with the Australian operations of its existing Kiwi clients. It will add to staff numbers to support new business growth.
