Follow recent changes within the promotional company charged with promoting MotorSport NZ’s premier race championship series, work has been continuing on confirming all classes for this summer’s series calendar.
MotorSport NZ is now in a position to declare a championship for Suzuki Swift Sport Cup cars. This top-class category joins the NZV8s and Toyota Racing Series championships visiting race circuits throughout the country over the summer months.
The championship series which includes a five round back-to-back race calendar within that for Toyota Racing Series is currently being finalised and details of which rounds Suzuki Swift Sport Cup will attend will be announced in the next week.
MotorSport NZ president Shayne Harris commented, “It is imperative we protect MotorSport NZ’s championships – winning a NZ championship is the pinnacle for our up and coming racing stars and it’s important we have these titles available. We look forward to a great summer of racing.”
