BNT V8 SuperTourers have confirmed that the second round of the 2013 series will be held at the Powerbuilt Tools Raceway, Ruapuna, over the weekend of March 8 and 9.
“We are delighted to be going back to Ruapuna,” explained Series Promoter Mike Marsden. “Negotiations have taken a little longer than we would have liked, but it’s across the line now and our many fans in the Christchurch area and indeed wider South Island community can look forward to some stellar racing which will feature all of our top drivers, including BNT V8 SuperTourer’s latest recruit, Shane van Gisbergen.”
The 2013 BNT V8 SuperTourer season blasts off over the weekend of February 15,16 and 17 at Hampton Downs and will see reigning champion Scott McLaughlin defend his title against the likes of Greg Murphy, John McIntyre, Andy Booth, Craig Baird, Ant Pedersen, Simon Evans, Mitch Cunningham as well as van Gisbergen and a host of other leading NZ driving talents.
