Trass Family Motorsport, New Zealand’s Ferrari racing team, has secured local backing from quantity surveying company Cuesko, for the final round of the 2015 Australian GT Championship at the Highlands Park 101 in Cromwell.

Cuesko provide national and international best practice Cost Management and advice for commercial and civil construction industries, with offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and clients all over New Zealand.

Cuesko Director John Giles sees the partnership with TFM as “the perfect opportunity to promote Cuesko’s brand and services on one of the fastest mobile billboards possible”.

Standout performers in the 2015 Australian GT Championship, the TFM team – led by drivers Jono Lester and Graeme Smyth – have enjoyed four pole positions from the five rounds to date, two category pole records and two lap records at Townsville (outright) and Sandown.

The pace-setting Kiwi team are relying on the support of Kiwi fans, and partners like Cuesko and their existing support pool, to bolster their bid for a maiden Australian GT victory at Highlands Park, to add to the pair of podium finishes scored during the season thus far.

The double-header Highlands 101 weekend, held over three days on November 13-15; includes the standard pair of 60-minute Australian GT sprint races on Saturday, followed up by the non-championship 101-lap endurance race on Sunday.

Both are their own spectacle and both are in the sights of Trass Family Motorsport.

JONO LESTER / Driver – TFM Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 #27
It’s great to have a boost of support for the final AGT round from the team at Cuesko and I look forward to giving it our all to end the season on a high in the TFM Ferrari. Graeme and I have a score to settle particularly in the 101 race after suffering a car failure last year whilst running in second place. It’s going to be a great weekend and the perfect venue to sign off a busy year of racing.

GRAEME SMYTH / Driver – TFM Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 #27
We’re coming off the back of our strongest weekend at Sandown and with the extra confidence boost I’m really excited for Highlands. Racing in front of a home crowd will no doubt make us even stronger and with three races over the weekend there’s all to play for.

GERALD TRASS / Team Principal – Trass Family Motorsport
