The whole world of Formula One has come together to wish the best for Michael Schumacher, who is still in hospital after a freak skiing accident in December. There’s been tributes from fans, drivers and now the Bahrain International Circuit has painted the barrier near turn one with the message, “Our thoughts and prayers are with you Michael.”
Turn one of course has been recently renamed after the seven-time World Champion, and this is no doubt one of many tributes we’ll see during the Bahrain Grand Prix, a race that was won for the first time by Schumacher in 2004.
