Turua-based AJ and Brad Lauder have taken the next step in their racing careers and will be campaigning current Ford Falcons in the 2013 NZV8s championship.
The brothers who are nephews of racing legend Paul Radisich, both competed in the Suzuki Swift Sport Cup last season, with AJ taking the coveted championship title and Brad achieving top race results.
AJ, who also completed the MotorSport Elite Academy this year, will be racing the Falcon that Martin Short brought home in fourth place last season while Brad will be in the sister car which was brought out for the one-off event at the V8 Supercars in Hamilton this year.
“Uncle Paul” will be on board to mentor the boys and no doubt teach them a thing or two about driving V8s at the top level.
They will certainly be ones to watch with a Championship Gold Star on the line for the current TL cars.
This is just the start of top quality names we will announce over the next month for the 2013 championship.
