Concept Motorsport are proud to announce the arrival of the first ever Nissan Altima TLX race car into the NZV8 Touring Cars Championship.

In celebration of Nick Ross piloting the Nissan in the up coming season of 2014-15, Concept Motorsport will exhibit the soon to be completed Altima in the NZV8 Touring Cars pit area at the final round of the series held at Pukekohe Park Raceway over ANZAC weekend 25-27th April.

The brand new Nissan Altima is the second TLX Championship car that Concept Motorsport have built, with owner and driver Nick Ross being excited over the new project.

“We were given an opportunity too good to pass up so we went for it and we are very much looking forward to getting the car on the track in the new season.” said Ross.

The support that Concept Motorsport has received from Nissan Motorsport Australia has been outstanding, with technical advice and invaluable help with various aspects of the build.

Concept Motorsport welcome Jim Wright Nissan of Hamilton as their new business partner for the upcoming 2014-15 campaign.

While the new season of the NZV8 Touring Cars will be an exciting one with Ross and the Nissan Altima expanding the series to host four brands of race cars, he must also focus on trying to win this season’s title.

“Working with the team on putting this car together and while at the same time concentrating on winning a championship has been hard work but it should all be worthwhile in the end especially if
I can put that number one on the new car.” he said.

Ross, a long standing driver in the NZV8 Touring Cars and currently second in this year’s TLX Championship battle is very much looking forward to making a strong challenge for the title next weekend at Pukekohe Park Raceway in the final of the six round season.
