The 2013 Toyota Racing Series and NZV8s championship events will be broadcast on Prime and Sky Sport this coming season.
Each round of the Toyota Racing Series will screen in a prime-time slot on SKY TV on the Friday evening following each round, while the NZV8s will play in a similar time slot on the Sunday night.
“Free to air” viewers will enjoy the coverage on Prime TV the following weekend also. SKY TV will then rescreen each episode at least three times over their sports channels. The team at MotorSport NZ along with David Hedge from Volt TV have been working hard to secure the deal which will be fantastic step up for the two categories.
We’re excited about moving back to a post-produced programme where we will be able to show all the drama and excitement of a race weekend. We will have in-car cameras in all cars so none of the action will be missed.

Who’s being quoted as making the final statement? Not sure that this is a “step up” if fans used to see coverage of these series on TV1 or TV3 in years gone by.
If they are going to put in car cameras in each car and they bring about ten cameras to the track they could probably get two cameras per car the way it’s going.
