V8 Supercars

Prodrive Racing (Australia) is busy finalising the race specification of the new FG X Falcon ahead of the 2015 V8 Supercars Championship, which kicks off with the sydney.com SuperTest at the start of next month.

PRA is currently working alongside V8 Supercars to homologate the car at East Sale in Victoria.

“We’ve been working very hard to develop the FG X for some time now and it is exciting to be able to share it with our fans,” said Prodrive Racing Team Principal Tim Edwards.

“With the SuperTest only a few weeks away we are expecting to see improvements in a range of areas as we continue our development in the lead up to the event.”

“We are encouraged by the improvements we have seen so far, so we can’t wait to get it out on the track and see what the boys can do with it this season.”

The FG X will break cover for the first time at the Sydney Motorsport Park SuperTest on 7-8 February, with at least three expected on the grid, for Mark Winterbottom, Chaz Mostert and DJR Team Penske’s Marcos Ambrose.
