Alex Buncombe was one of NISMO Nissan’s main hopes of a big result at the recent Spa 24 Hour, until their race ended after just 30 minutes with a catastrophic rear suspension/hub failure sending the popular ex-gamer into the tyres at Eau Rouge at frightening speed.
He emerged unscathed but any hopes of Nissan making the podium were dashed from that point forward; the race dominated by Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.
